25. novembril kell 17:00 avavad Rootsi kunstnikud Cecilia Enberg ja Hilda Lindström ühisnäituse "Type | Error" GÜ galeriis.

Näituseprojekt " Type | Error " käsitleb kunstilise uurimise tööprotsessi. Enberg ja Lindström kasutavad graafika töömeetodeid ja -tehnikad tõeste ja valede väidete kujutamiseks vastavalt statistikale. Kuni näituse avamiseni on kunstnikud uurinud meetodeid ja lähenemisviise erinevate sõnade ja mõistete kohta nagu: piiriala, kordused, eemaldamine, lisamine, ülekanded, tagasiside, tähenduseta mustrid, tekst kui kuvand, vandenõuteooriad ja süsteemid.
Kunstnikud seavad eesmärgiks uurida erinevaid sündmuste ahelaid ja sündmuste jadasid. Mis juhtub teabega (tulemused, küsitlused) edukatest ja vähem edukatest projektidest? Kuidas saavad nt kunstnikud kasutada oma eelnevaid kogemusi kunstilises protsessis? Graafika piirimail? Kuidas graafikatehnikaid ja töömeetodid hõlbustavad/ takistavad kunstitegevust? Kas mõni väljuendusvahend muutub kontrollitumaks või selgemaks?
Enberg ja Lindström on mõlemad Rootsi Graafikute Liidu liikmed.
Nad kohtusid 2018. aastal protsessipõhise ja performatiivse graafika arendusprojekti käigus . Nad mõlemad töötavad erinevate kunstilise uurimistöö viisidega graafikas ning neil on ühine huvi proovida eri lähenemiste ja töömeetodite uurimist.
Näitust TYPE | ERRORsai näha esmaordselt 2023 aasta septembris Rootsis Örnsköldsvikis Galleriis Lokomotiv.

Enberg and Lindström are both members of Grafiska Sällskapet (the Swedish Printmakers Association). They met in 2018 during a printmaking development project on process and performance. They both work with different ways of artistic research in printmaking and have a common interest in trying and exploring approaches and working methods.
GOAL
Work process - method - hypothesis
The project Type | Error is about a work process in the artistic investigation. Enberg and Lindström use printmaking methods/techniques to depict true and false statements according to the statistical hypothesis theory: Type I and type II errors. Until the exhibition's opening, Enberg and Lindström investigated methods and approaches concerning various words and concepts such as borderland, repetitions, removal, addition/removing, transfers and feedbacks, patterns without meaning, text as image, conspiracy theories, and systems.
PURPOSE
Chains of events, associations, and conscious and unconscious attempts. Enberg and Lindström aim to investigate different chains of events and sequences of events. What happens to the information (results, surveys) from successful and less successful projects? How can, e.g., artists use their previous experiences in an artistic process? In the borderland of printmaking. How can graphic techniques and working methods facilitate/hinder artistic practice? Does any expression become more controlled or clarified?
The result of the workflow's attempt, Type | Error, was first presented at Galleri Lokomotiv, Örnsköldsvik, September 2-23, and now at GÜ Gallery, Tallinn, November 25 - December 8, 2023.
