The Estonian Printmakers Association accepts residency applications from the international artist community. The residency program concludes with the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition at the GÜ Gallery.
We offer a spacious printmaking studio with printing presses including a lithography press, a unique vintage press for relief printing and a large modern etching press for intaglio work. Artists can use our well-equipped studio at a price of €100 per week. All expenses, such as living costs, travel, materials, insurance and transportation must be covered by the artists themselves. We encourage all applicants to apply for funding in their home countries. Artists in residence are expected to do a short artist talk/reading/concert or performance etc. during the stay.
We recommend to apply for 6 week program for 600 eur.The package includes 3 weeks of studio use at the Printmaking Studio + 3 weeks of GÜ Gallery rental + introduction to studio set up and equipment + support in acquiring materials + drawer for flat storage.
Accommodation is not included in the price. We can, however, help find affordable accommodation if needed.
